Catalysing project and investment pipelines
Projects and Investors
About our focus
For the world to seize the growth story of our time and meet international targets, from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Climate Agreement to the Rio Convention and the Global Biodiversity Framework, we need to be able to scale the investment required to successfully accelerate and align industry, finance and country efforts.
The private sector is poised to mobilise finance, however to date there is a limited pipeline of “investment-ready” projects. The preparation and definition stage of projects is often overlooked and, as the go-to global private sector organisation on sustainable transition, the Sustainable Markets Initiative strives to fill this gap by offering end-to-end support for projects, supporting an increased and more consistent sustainable investment pipeline.
The Sustainable Markets Initiative provides development support and connectivity with the investor community.
