In Inner Mongolia, Envision Energy delivered a world-leading large-scale energy storage cluster. Envision’s AI Energy Storage System enabled high-quality grid connection and market-oriented operations - demonstrating product reliability, delivery capability, and AI-powered power system expertise.
On December 30, the world’s largest single-site electrochemical energy storage power station—the Envision Jingyi Chagan Hada Energy Storage Power Station—was successfully connected to the grid. The project has a capacity of 4 GWh and is fully equipped with the Envision AI Energy Storage System, enabling it to pass the grid’s “three-charge, three-discharge” verification in a single attempt. This milestone also marks the completion of Envision’s 12.8 GWh energy storage cluster deployed across Bayannur, Ordos, Hohhot, Ulanqab, Xilingol League, and Alxa League in 2025. The cumulative capacity of projects led by Inner Mongolia’s regional development reached over 14 GWh, setting new global records for both the scale of energy storage clusters and the speed of grid connection.
The project portfolio will be fully integrated into the power spot market. Powered by the Envision AI Energy Storage System, it will enable closed-loop operations spanning “forecasting–dispatch–trading–self-learning,” improving the efficiency of trading decisions and execution, enhancing grid resilience, and increasing renewable energy integration. Built on the “Tianji” meteorological foundation model and the “Tianshu” energy foundation model, the system is optimized for harsh local conditions such as sandstorms and low temperatures in Inner Mongolia. By integrating grid-forming capabilities with trading agents, the system is designed to improve lifecycle returns, with field-tested projections indicating potential return improvements of over 20%.
