Artemis Celebration Gala to unite astronauts, space pioneers and global leaders at Kennedy Space Center
The Sustainable Markets Initiative’s Astra Carta joins as presenting sponsor, advancing sustainability and responsible growth in the new era of space exploration
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Florida, 12 October 2026 – Global leaders from across space, business, government and entertainment will gather beneath the Saturn V rocket at the Kennedy Space Center for the Artemis Celebration Gala, honoring the achievements that brought humanity to this moment – more than 50 years after the Apollo mission – and the people shaping what comes next.
Presented in partnership with NASA and produced by Purpose Entertainment, the Gala taking place on 6 November will celebrate the historic success of Artemis II and the beginning of a new era of space exploration.
The Artemis Celebration Gala will connect generations of explorers of the cosmos, from those who helped take humanity to the Moon during Apollo to the astronauts and leaders advancing Artemis today and the innovators building the future of the global space economy.
The Sustainable Markets Initiative’s Astra Carta will serve as presenting sponsor, bringing sustainability and responsible growth to the conversation about humanity’s expanding presence in space.
Founded by His Majesty King Charles III in 2020 when he was Prince of Wales, the Sustainable Markets Initiative launched the Astra Carta in 2023 to help place sustainability at the center of the rapidly growing global space economy. The Astra Carta provides a roadmap for the private sector to advance responsible space exploration, development and collaboration.
Jennifer Jordan-Saifi, M.V.O, CEO of the Sustainable Markets Initiative said: “If achieving a sustainable future is 'The Growth Story of Our Time', our sustainability-aligned ventures into space offer infinite possibilities. The Astra Carta and the Terra Carta represent a global promise that we will navigate the next frontier with wisdom, foresight, and responsibility. As we embark on this journey to the stars, we must be relentless stewards for the spark of life our unique blue planet has nurtured."
Astra Carta Ambassadors will also attend the Gala, joining individuals from across space, business, government and other sectors to advance a global conversation about how humanity can explore and develop space responsibly while harnessing space technology to benefit life on Earth.
Christina Korp, Founder and CEO of Purpose Entertainment said: “Having spent years managing Apollo Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin, I’ve made it my mission to carry that inspiration forward and remind people that what once seemed impossible is possible. Through Artemis, we are witnessing history being made again. I’m especially proud that the Astra Carta is presenting this celebration, bringing together NASA, Apollo legends, and international partners around a shared vision of what humanity can achieve.”
