With the Sustainable Markets Initiative, His Royal Highness is gathering a global ‘coalition of the willing’ who share the vision around the need to accelerate global progress towards a sustainable future.
The Sustainable Markets Initiative was launched by His Royal Highness at The World Economic Forum 2020 Annual Meeting in Davos together with a 10-point action plan to kickstart bold and imaginative action across the next decade.
Delivering action and results
The Sustainable Markets Initiative currently consists of several programmes aimed at creating global engagement, inspiring change and accelerating investments towards sustainable markets.
A series of industry and issue-specific roundtables bringing together system innovators, investors and decision-makers to start charting the course and committing to tangible actions.
During its first year, the Sustainable Markets Initiative has hosted more than a dozen roundtable discussions and brought hundreds of business leaders into the discussion.
Engaging with country leaders to support their transition efforts and to link them with industry and investment that are in line with their national transition priorities with the aim of facilitating acceleration and scale.

RE:TV went live in September 2020 at the 75th United Nations General Assembly to promote the Sustainable Markets Initiative globally.

I have dedicated much of my life to the restoration of harmony between humanity, Nature and the environment, and to the encouragement of corporate social and environmental responsibility. Quite frankly, it has been a bit of an uphill struggle. But, now, it is time to take it to the next level.
